8.Overhead Racks
A really important thing to remember when living in a small apartment is that you need to utilize your space efficiently. That means if you don’t have a lot of floor space but have high ceilings, use the ceiling. If the height of your apartment allows it, install overhead racks or shelves that are just under the ceiling. It’s a really great and efficient space savig idea. Those high shelves are good for storing things you don’t use very often like an old collection of books, or perhaps some souvenirs you have from other countries, or even some memorabilia. It’s also a good way of showcasing some artwork, for example some small statues. It’s a wonderful space saving idea if you have kids. You can always store stuff you don’t want your kids to reach on those high shelves.
