Not many people know that the setting of the famous sci-fi thriller ‘Ex Machina’ is a place where you can actually live yourself. Juvet Hotel is the first ever landscape hotel that is located at Alstad in Valldal, Norway. Nine separate cabins, each boasting a unique eco-friendly interior, are scattered all over the picturesque area of the West Norwegian Fjords, which is now part of UNESCO’s World Heritage.
Needless to say, the area offers stunning sceneries and whimsical views, including that of a waterfall located in the Gudbrandsjuvet gorge. Each cabin is equipped with cutting edge tech and luxurious, yet simple furniture. All in all, the interior is made in simple dark colors to keep the focus on the surrounding beauty of nature.
