10. Capsule Hotel
If you aren’t afraid of cramped spaces and want a truly unusual hotel experience, then head to Capsule Inn Osaka (or any other Capsule Hotel located throughout Japan). You will stay at a 2×1 room made with plastic and fibre glass, equipped with TV, electronics consoles, Wi-Fi, and privacy curtains. It is forbidden to eat or smoke inside the capsule, but Capsule Hotels have decent restaurants on its premises.
You should also forget about private bathrooms as the size of Capsule Inn accommodations is simply not meant to have one. If you don’t mind sharing your space with other guests, you will experience a truly unique and inexpensive stay at Japan’s most affordable hotel. Price: $25-$50 per night.
