The Strangest Houses In The World

5.The Hashtag Tower

Social media has come so far as to influence our buildings. We always associate the hashtag symbol with twitter, instagram, perhaps even facebook, but now it’s a building. A group of Danish architects designed this very 3 dimensional building, situated in Seoul, Korea. Surprisingly this isn’t a new business centre or a shopping mall. It looks like it could be the new headquarters of a social media website or application, but no, it’s just a regular apartment building. It definitely deserves to be listed among the strangest houses in the world. This hashtag building is actually made up of interlocking horizontal and vertical towers. It has three different corridors connecting the towers. One underground, on on the ground level and one in the air. The building caters to all sorts of ages and residents and has many activity rooms that before have only been available on the ground.
