6.Wing Shaped Zayed National Museum
This unusual futuristic building is supposed to be the new Zayed National Museum, showcasing the culture and history of Emirates and the recent economic and social changes that the country has gone through. The building has been designed by Foster+Partners. The idea behind this monumental building is genius. The building is meant to be situated on a man made mountain island. The 5 glass towers shape a wing, that’s not only beautiful but also functional. The wings are meant to capture air, bring it down through the underground tubes to cool it and then push it through the vents into the building. This way you get cool air ventilation without using any electricity.
