The Strangest Houses In The World

2.One-Sqm-House

This house has been designed by a German based architect Van Bo Le-Mentzel. The architect had to live as a refugee for a long time and spend his time in social housing. After years of that he decided to build a house that’s just for him. It’s a wooden structure that takes up only one square meter of space. Many would agree that it’s one of the strangest houses in the world. There isn’t enough space inside to have any kind of amenities, but you can comfortably sit down inside. The house can be flipped on it’s side and then you can even comfortably lie down inside. This tiny house is also really easy to transport. It weighs only 40 kilograms and has wheels on the side, which means you can just drag it wherever you want. It’s not much, but as Van Bo Le-Mentzel said “It’s one place in the world where you can decide which way the door opens and which side the window faces”.
